Another one playing with older files. A favorite shot of mine is this one of the parliament. I used two of the great textures by Skeletalmess (from here: shadowhousecreations.blogspot.com and blended in GIMP.

The power of the filter
Do you know what I think is most fun in black and white photography? It is one of the things which has great potential to get lost. It is filters.
Another one with a wide angle
Wide angle lenses make crazy pictures. This is mostly due to the fact that the perspective is distorted.
An unusual point of view can make the picture even more interesting. So finally you add some vanishing points, pull out a bottle of purple and make a picture.

I wish I could say that I was sitting and updating the ideas for photography projects. But I just finished washing the dishes and because I had not made any shot today looked at the shots from yesterday.

Maybe there is also a time for changing the point of view. It does not really matter. I had the 50mm/1.8 on my camera for a longer time. I need a change.
Expect the unexpected
The funny thing on photography is that it sometimes hits you in the eye. If you go to a museum you would not expect to look through a window and see a wreck of a seat.
Especially if the balcony is part of Hofburg.
Stay curious and expect the unexpected.
